hello! i am going out of town today for a week or so. thought i would check in before i go. bringing a guitar. i have had the craziest week. spent a night in knoxville, lexington, show in dayton. all that and got a new car, new haircut, and moved into a new house. and a few new shirts. new new new.
i feel new.

we played mcguffy’s on friday. it rocked. it was the most rocking set we have done in a long time. non-stop. even just right rocked (the new punk version of it…). we have been changing things up and experimenting. we were all tired as shit taking the stage. we had long days, especially dan and drew. but we played well and were up for the whole set. so that’s good when you can have a long day and rock out on adrenaline alone. when there are people in the club, the adrenaline is pumping and we are playing well together life is good. life is good.

we played two new songs, wake up and the dark. but i might call the dark “spiders” if the guys think it’s a good idea. the dark sounds stupid. i don’t know.

i might put some mp3’s clips of some acoustic things i record at home up here on the journal sometime. that could help you to get in the spirit with me. i am all about the writing and the new songs right now.
