lakewood
hey. since i last wrote, we played a show in columbus, t and i played an acoustic show at UC, and we played a show in lakewood ohio.
there isn’t much to tell about columbus. there were some people there who seemed to have a good time. some we hadn’t seen before. but it was not the greatest turnout. plus we went on at 1:30 in the morning which was less than fun.
the other day T and i played acoustic as part of UC’s mainstreet madness mini-concert series. they recently finished remodeling the building we played in, and we were helping to celebrate its completion. it was really nice. the big new open space made for some really great natural reverb. sun pouring in through the skylights. lots of polite college students stopping for a song or two or all of them. we played for an hour or so. then had a free lunch downstairs at goldstar.
last night we played at the hi-fi club in lakewood, ohio, near cleveland.

load-in, as seen through my hair.

some of our guitars in their cases.
Mo Andrews Inclusion and K-Complex opened the show. we played a long set, and a one song encore. it was hot, late, and fun.
after the show we had an impromptu afterparty in the parking lot with some show-goers for at least an hour or two. we left for cincy late last night. i drove and the guys slept as the sun came up this morning.
i will be back in a day or two with some photos. thanks to everyone in cleveland who came out, especially the cleveland area fans who have been waiting patiently for us to make it back up there. i liked hi-fi; maybe we can make a regular thing of it.
