Hey guys! Just got home from the WB Primetime Bash at Union Terminal in Cincinnati. Hello and thanks to those of you who braved the cold and snow and made it out. I hope you had a good time. While yes, the room may have been a little too ambient and lively sonically for some of ‘ya, i think the visual magesty of a space like that made up for it. I used to go to that museum all the time with my mother when i was a kid, so it’s cool to go back and be involved in a big event there. My favorite part of the evening was by far the large strobe lights out front. I’ve always wanted to do something that called for large strobe lights in front of a building. I guess now i have. Thanks to our new friends at the WB for putting it on and inviting us. At one point during the show, i stole a camera from a girl and took a couple photographs. If you are or happen to know this girl, please e-mail me the pics. Thanks!
We are flying to Arizona in the morning to do a radio show with The Counting Crows. Sweet. I’ve always wanted to play with The Counting Crows. I really should be sleeping, but i’m not. I’m digging up fun July For Kings internet stuff and writing this journal. We just made the NUMBER ONE most addictive album on AlternativeAddiction.com. That’s f’ing sweet. Check it out: http://www.alternativeaddiction.com/mostaddictive/top10albums.htm.
In other internet news…please check out a recent review of SWIM at EastCoastRomper.com. “…profound singing voice that easily encompasses your soul, makes you feel alive, and just makes you tap your foot and say yes “there is something to BELIEVE in”…SWIM is a massive, beautiful rock album.”
